The Many Uses of Mineral Makeup

Published by amkaylor at 8:45 am under Cheeks, Eye Makeup, Lips Edit This

Mineral makeup is all the rage. People love the loose pigments and the lightweight feel of mineral makeup. However, many people do not understand how truly versatile mineral makeup can be.

For instance, did you know that you can make a lip gloss out of your favorite blush? Simply mix a little mineral makeup blush in with your favorite lip balm or clear gloss. The mineral makeup pigments dissolve in the lip balm or lip gloss and make a beautiful lip product that perfectly matches your blush.

Maybe you have a mineral eye shadow that isn’t *quite* the right shade. Well, mineral makeup is easy to mix. If you want it to be a little bit lighter, add a lighter eye shadow, like a buff or ivory color to the eye shadow. To darken it, add a touch of a darker pigment.

Mineral makeup is a great way to custom blend your makeup and extend the color wardrobe in your makeup bag.
